Normally I try to stay out of things that could simply be misunderstandings, but I think we should all be cautious about this

character. I was reading

's journal
[link] (yes, I read some of them though not all) and I went to this guy's page and dug around a bit. He really seems to be a creep, so I thought I'd go ahead and warn all my deviantart friends and club members.
Just be careful--And if any of you have a problem with him, report it.

Ello, ello! Well,

as winner of the last contest has picked the next contest theme of "umbrella". The story/poem/other form of literature does not have to be centered around an umbrella but it must be mentioned. The umbrella may also be metaphorical if you wish.
RULES:
1) This is lesbian-lit-club so obviously we want it to have some form of lesbian theme or if you wish, LGBT rights/struggles, ect.
2) When you submit, you note the club, preferably not my personal account, though if you have a problem with inspiration or ever just want to talk noting me there would be fine!
3) All entries must be submitted by
MIDNIGHT DECEMBER 31st. This gives you a nice chunk of time to come up with ideas and such.
4) PLEASE VOTE THIS TIME! I was so happy to see how many people entered but very few of you voted. I really want to hear from you guys! Voting will close two weeks after the contest has ended, if there is still a tie, the tied entries will be left up to be voted on over a week's time. ONE VOTE A PIECE. Pick one and vote on it. This time, we're not going to do the three votes thing because that was partially responsible for the four-way tie last time.
5) Have fun.
6) You may enter 1 to 3 pieces.
The prize will be a piece for however many votes you got, written by me or if anyone wants to volunteer to do it or a drawing or something, by them.

"I will write a piece of poetry or a one-shot for whomever may win if you'd like."
The option will also be given to pick our next contest theme.
Note or comment with any questions!
Also, just a couple little notes:
1) If possible, when you submit could you tell me the warnings? I don't always have time to really go through and read everything, especially on the longer pieces.
2)
PLEASE STOP FAVING CLUB SUBMISSIONSHave a great day!

I am the Admin of =
camerawhore and *
ArtForTheEscape and I am hosting a charity project and a contest in honor of World AIDS Day 2009 which is held December 1 of every year.
Here is the link to my news article:
[link]Here is my journal:
[link]The project will be a charity book, and the contest involves the choice for the cover of the book. All proceeds form the book will go to AVERT, an international AIDS charity.
I would love it if you'd advertise this in the club/community in any way you see fit, I am accepting many types of mediums for the project including traditional, digital, photography, photomanip, and literature.
If you are interested in featuring the winners of the cover contest too, just let me know and I'll add you to my journal!
THANK YOU!!

Also, while we only post literature here, if anyone sees a piece of art that they think appropriate, feel free to link the club and we'll give it the fave it deserves! Maybe, if I can figure out how to get my hands on a subscription we'll try to do weekly features or something.
